IN LESS THAN 50 WORDS:
Okay, the last chapter of 2014 and it was sad one. But it was a right farewell, more importantly a temporary one. We searched for a PG and then went to Chamundi hills and finally settled into a Dhaba. Finally rode back alone to Bangalore. For Gauti who was just getting full time into the act, this was a major brake.

INTRO & PLAN:
We had heard the news of Gauti shifting to Mysore we were shocked and happy for him that he had found better opportunities over there. So, when asked others (it was a Saturday) others had plans. So, told Gauti I would love to accompany him to Mysore.

TIME: 22:00 (26/12/2014)

ASSEMBLE & LEAVE:
Yeah I was up at 05:00, did a few push ups & situps, had a cup of coffee and was all set to go. The meet up was scheduled at my place. Gauti arrived at my place at about 06:00 and we left Bangalore in the cold weather.
TIME: 06:15

RIDE 1: (Bangalore– Ramnagara – Maddur – Mandya – Mysore)
This was a 150kms ride on the butter smooth SH-17. As we left Bangalore, it was actually pretty cold. Gauti all packed and set was riding neat and steady. I followed behind him.  When asked about the breakfast we decided to have at Maddur as it would mark the midway and would mean a better pit stop. So we rode non-stop, cruising past Bidadi, Ramnagar, Channpatna to crash into Maddur Tifany’s for breakfast.

TIME: 07:45

After belting a masala dosa followed by a strong coffee, we loafed around the premises for a while and got back on the road. Mysore is about 80kms from Maddur, we rode pretty slow during this stretch. We made a few stops just to enjoy the green fields of Mandya. And finally we hit Mysore.

TIME: 09:45

MYSORE:

Gauti called up his friend of friend, we went to his place and crashed in for an hour or so chatting. After which we decided we would visit Chamundi hills as we were in Mysore. We headed out in my bike and as it was a Saturday, the place was flooded with people. But we cruised our way to the top. At the top we grabbed a few roasted corn and sat on ledge chatting. After which we decided we would finish lunch at Mysore and head back home.

TIME:11:30

RIDE 2: (Chamundi hills – Mysore – Mandya – Ramnagara – Bangalore)
We made a quick way back to Mysore. And heading towards the friend of friend’s place, we spotted a neat Dhaba. So we pulled over for some tasty lunch.

TIME: 12:45

During the lunch a lot of things were discussed. As Gauti was a very active member last month, I promised any trip towards Mysore, he would be incharge and called upon. After which we left the dhaba afloat. I dropped back Gauti to his temporary place, wished him the best of luck and left towards Bangalore.

TIME: 14:15

The ride back was decent one. It was alone, and yeah, importantly I did not plug in my ear phones like douches out there. I enjoyed the ride just as it is (always raw/neat). Cruising at a decent pace made it through Mandya, Maddur, Channpatna. At Ramnagar, I pulled over for a bum break.  After which I rode non-stop to reach back home prior sunset.
